Putrajaya, Feb 5, 2025 – Texas Chicken has reached an exciting milestone, opening its 100th store in Malaysia at Presint 14, Putrajaya. To commemorate this achievement, the international quick-service restaurant chain hosted a Grand Opening celebration, alongside a nationwide promotion to express gratitude to Malaysians for their unwavering support.

Since its debut in Malaysia in January 2013 at AEON Bukit Tinggi, Klang, Texas Chicken has rapidly expanded its footprint across the country. Today, it employs over 2,000 Malaysians and continues to grow. All Texas Chicken outlets in Malaysia are managed by Envictus International Holdings Limited, ensuring consistent quality and service across all locations.

Known for its hand-battered, double-breaded Original and Spicy Chicken, freshly baked honey-butter biscuits, tender wraps, and home-style sides, Texas Chicken remains a favorite for its generous portions and great value. Its signature ‘8-piece cut’ ensures larger chicken pieces, delivering a more satisfying meal. All Texas Chicken outlets in Malaysia are also Halal certified by JAKIM.

At the Grand Opening event, Dato’ Jaya Tan, Executive Chairman and Group CEO of Envictus International Holdings Limited, officiated the celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event also saw the participation of employees, business partners, and special guests, and featured a vibrant multicultural drum performance and exclusive tote bag giveaways to mark the opening of the 100th store.

Texas Chicken’s consistency and commitment to quality have earned it the prestigious Putra Brand Awards for six consecutive years, solidifying its place as one of Malaysia’s favorite quick-service brands.

Looking ahead, Texas Chicken plans to expand further with at least 10 new restaurants in 2025, including its first location in Sabah by the year’s end. This expansion will not only bring its bold and legendary flavors to more Malaysians but also create additional career opportunities across the country.
